The federation is pleased to note that Hon Clifton Grima in his opening speech of the National Sport Forum this evening stated that a site for the development of the Race Track was earmarked and yesterday he spoke with the Federation to have a preliminary understanding of a design that this site can have. He also mentioned that along with the recent resurfacing of Imtahleb Hill Climb, SportMalta will be assisting MDRA in the resurfacing of the quartermile track.
Hon Ryan Callus reiterated during his address that he supports the Federation call that the racetrack for Motorsport has to be developed the soonest possible for Motorsport enthusiasts along that it can help to reduce traffic accidents and deaths in our roads.
