Any Motorsport event taking place in Malta should have the necessary application vetted and approved by the MMF.

The application should be submitted 2 weeks BEFORE entries to the event open or 2 weeks before the event, whichever is earlier. This will allow the necessary time to review the application internally, advise insurers and handle any issues that may arise.
It is the authorised organising entity that will choose the Clerk of the Course, and the MMF shall allocate a Steward for the event (if applicable).
