The Island Car Club, together with the Rabat Motorsport Association, Rabat Local Council, as well as James Bonnici Racing Team with the help of Salerno Corse will be organizing a HillClimb at Mtaħleb on the 11th November as part of the President’s “Gurnata Sports mill Qalb” campaign. Italian teams are expected to participate with Maltese competitors at this event.
This event promises to be a memorable one. Double safety barriers have been installed to enhance the safety of the Mtaħleb climb. This was achieved thanks to the KMS, Mr. Bernanrd Vassallo, Mr. Angelito Sciberras, Honorable Clyde Puli and last but not least Rabat Mayor Sandro Craus and his team.
Entry forms are available at J&N Imports Qormi, or Simon Spray Painting Mosta. The €65 entrance fee includes a presentation dinner on Sunday evening at the Paradise Bay Hotel Cirkewwa where trophies will be awarded. Dinner tickets are also available for ONLY €15 each, with children (12 years and under) eating FREE.
Entries for the Island Car Club’s next Sunday event at Mtahleb (in aid of l-Istrina 2012) will close on Thursday 8th november. These will only be available at Simon’s garage mosta.
