The Island Radio Model Car Club at Pembroke, St. Andrews, was founded in September 1986 by a group of R/C car racing enthusiasts.
The IRMCC-Pembroke promotes annual championships as well as non-championship events for Electric and Nitro R/C cars with keen and exciting racing held monthly at the track. Racing is run exclusively to International rules, and Maltese members have reached a high standard in race preparation as well as driving.
At IRMCC-Pembroke there are classes catering for both beginner drivers, as well as “experts” and it is not uncommon to find more seasoned members helping newcomers during race meetings.
