The free time attack that opens the Malta National GT3 Championship 2026. The first phase consists of setting your fast lap on iRacing and finish in the top 4. That means that the first 5 drivers are in the championship. The wildcard of the 2025 National Champion and the top 4 that qualified. The second phase consists of a 30 minute race on Monday 13th July, where the top 5 will proceed to the championship. The race depends on how many participants apply to the qualifiers.
The challenge
One car. One track. Your fastest clean lap. The qualifier runs at Snetterton 300, in the BMW M4 GT3 car on iRacing. Practise as much as you like inside the window. Only your best time counts.
What you need
Qualifer runs on iRacing. Entry to the qualifier is free, but you will need an iRacing account plus the car and the track. If you don’t own iRacing yet you can pay the MMF Esports License and a free one year iRacing membership will be provided. Championship cars and tracks are purchased separately.
- Create an account or log in on our website.
- Apply to the qualifiers.
- Pay your MMF Esports License if you don’t own iRacing for the free one year key. €20 for the year. Go to your App Store or Play Store and install the FIA Digital License app. Proceed with the steps.
- Make sure you own Snetterton and the BMW M4 GT3.
- Sign in to your iRacing account.
- Go to Time Attack and find the GT3 qualifiers.
- Set your fastest time by 7 July, 23:59.
Eligibility
Open to Maltese citizens and Maltese residency card holders. Age 12+
What is at stake
A seat in the national GT3 championship and a share of the €5,000 prize pool, paid every round and again to the overall top three. Part of €15,000 across the three national championships. Championship participants must pay a €165 entry fee to join the championship.
