ONCE AGAIN!!! MDRA for charity, the annual awaited event, will be held for the sixth consecutive year on Sunday 24th March at Hal Far RaceWay, in aid of the Malta Autism Centre.

MDRA for Charity, organised by Mario Mifsud known as Deejay Banana with the support of the Malta Drag Racing Association (MDRA), Motodrome, the Malta Motor Sport Federation and the Malta Drifting association, promises to be a spectacular event packet with various activities, shows and competitions, all in aid of charity.

The event will open the season for the MDRA and MDA 2013 Championships and also the fist static show of the season and will include a a Drft Race for MDA Saturday night 7.00pm onwards and on Sunday 24th the Grand Car Show, head to head races on the MDRA racetrack, a Gymkhana and Drift rides and air show from the Malta Micro Light Club together with a Great show from ASMK (Assocjazzjoni Sport Muturi u Karozzi).

The day will also be filled with a number of competitions including the Base Race (Sound Competition) by Modify It, Drifting Competition by MDA and an amazing entertainment by Gorg u Pawlu.

All proceeds from this event will go to The Malta Autism Centre which is a non-profit organization (VO/0520) provides specialist services for people with autism. Autism spectrum disorder is a life-long neurodevelopmental disorder which affects 1 in 100 births. This Centre aims to help individuals who fall within the autism spectrum through the different stages of their lives from birth to old age.

Motor Clubs, families and friends….. Join us this Sunday 24th March between 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs CET for a spectacular Motor Sport Feast which will be transformed into a noble event, helping a very important vacuum in Malta by supporting people with autism and their families, and increasing autism awareness in the Maltese society.
