The Malta Motorsport Federation (MMF) is pleased to announce that the Old Motors Club (OMC) has finalised the proceedings to affiliate itself with the Federation. The affiliation of OMC along with that of the Malta Drag Racing Association (MDRA), a few months ago, denotes a positive year for the Federation.
MMF President Tonio Cini stated that the OMC is one of the leading clubs in Malta and the diversity that this club is bringing in the Federation, creates an interesting mix along with the affiliated clubs within the static, classic, vintage and modern collector clubs. MMF is extremely satisfied that after several meetings, OMC perceived that the Federation is working for the benefit of all motoring enthusiasts, both collectors and competitive ones. Since 14th November 2011, all classic, vintage and historic vehicle collectors started to benefit from the Single Licence Plate scheme, which is a very important measure to further encourage and promote the preservation, restoration and collection of classic, vintage and historic vehicles in Malta.
