The workshops offer an introduction to some of the concepts of human performance, and will be delivered in Malta during September 2011 for a minimal payment of €50 per participant. The content covers a variety of topics including Goal setting ; Nutrition ; Determination ; Fitness ; Creating your team ; Communications ; Sponsorship ; Tactical and Anti-doping issues. The course is certificated by the FIA Institute, MMF and MSAUK.
Included within the timetable for the classes will be a session for ‘Racing Parents’ which is open to parents and guardians of eligible participants only. If you are the parent of a young competitor, you will know how tough it can be. With a number of varied roles to fulfil, whether as unofficial sponsor, manager, coach, cook, mechanic, or just best friend, it can be tricky getting the balance right. The Racing Parent session will help you to avoid some of the common pitfalls and will help to ensure that what you are doing is in the best interests of your child.
