Calls for development of Facilities

The federation is pleased to note that Hon Clifton Grima in his opening speech of the National Sport Forum this evening stated that a site for the development of the Race Track was earmarked and yesterday he spoke with the Federation to have a preliminary understanding of a design that this site can have. 2019 Budget – No funds for Road Safety and Motorsport Facility

The Malta Motorsport Federation followed very closely the budget speech by Hon. Edward Scicluna presented yesterday and unfortunately we again registered no significant progress towards the Government’s electoral manifesto of 2017 where the motorsport enthusiasts were promised a development of a race track so that our athletes could practice their sports in a safe area locally rather than having to participate in events abroad, such as in Italy, with the relative increases in costs. Podium for Team Malta at Hill Climb Masters

The FIA Hill Climb Masters 2018 was a hit with participants and spectators alike for Team Malta and their supporting crew. The race was a great celebration of uniting top hill-climb racing drivers thanks to the participation of drivers from 21 different countries all determined to make the most of the vehicles at the foot of the extremely beautiful and welcoming medieval town Gubbio.
